Solar System
The solar system has 8 planets. Closest to the sun are 4 Terrestrial planets. They are all made of rock. Mercury is the smallest and is closest to the sun. It is named after the roman messenger God. Next comes Venus, which is almost as big as the earth, but is far too hot and has a poisonous atmosphere. It was named after the roman god of love and beauty.
